Pushing mobile apps to the AMP Manager

The AMP Manager is a standalone, separately licensed program that can be used for app distribution and user management. Use the AMP Manager to remotely push or pull an app to or from a mobile device. You can also use the AMP Manager to handle user and group access rights for an app.

To use the AMP Manager for app distribution:

1. In Designer Studio, click the name of your Pega 7 Platform application and click Open Mobile Apps.
2. Click a custom mobile app icon.
3. Click the General tab.
4. In the Publish section, click Submit now.
5. Populate the following fields:
• URL to AMP Manager - The path to your AMP Manager instance, for example:
  https://ampexample.com/mc/ws/api/1/
  Note: The URL must start with 'https' and end with '/mc/ws/api/1/'
  
• Username - The username for your AMP Manager instance.
• Password - The password for your AMP Manager instance.
• Publisher name - The app publisher information that is shown in the app store.
• Description - A description of the app that is displayed in an app store.
6. Click Publish. A confirmation message is displayed.
