Adding a survey to a case

You can add a survey as a step in a stage to ask users for information while they process a case. By using the Survey smart shape, you can integrate a survey with the life cycle of a case. At run time, the survey is formatted to run in the case based on these settings.

Tip: Use multiple subprocesses in the same flow to call a group of surveys in succession. This approach is helpful if you need to upgrade a deprecated survey group.

  1. In the explorer panel of Designer Studio, click Cases and then click the name of a case type.In the navigation panel, click Cases and then click the name of a case type. If you are working offline, open a flow.

  2. In the stage to which you want to add a survey, click + Step> More > Utilities, and select Survey.

  3. Click Select to add a survey to the step.

  4. In the Parameters panel, configure the survey:
