Checking for conflicts in a survey

You can find questions that are mapped to the same property in a survey. By ensuring that each question uses a unique property, you can prevent users from accidentally overwriting answers at run time.

  1. Click Designer Studio > Survey Management.

  2. Click Edit next to the name of a survey that has at least one question page defined.

  3. Click View/Edit next to the name of a question page that has two or more questions defined.

  4. Expand the Advanced section and click Check for Property Conflicts.

An error message is displayed if a conflict is detected. To resolve the issue, update the identified questions and ensure that they use unique properties.

  5. Click Save to close the Edit Page dialog box.

  6. Click Save.

Note: This functionality is available when you purchase and install the PegaSurvey application.
