After adding the Assign to robot queue shape, configure it so that this flow uses Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
In the explorer panel of Designer Studio, click Cases to open the Case Type Explorer.
Double-click the Assign to robot queue shape in a flow, or click a step in Case Designer that uses the Assign to robot queue shape.
Note: Not all options are supported in Case Designer.
From the Flow list, select the objects that the flow is to update. Select one of the following options:
On Current page to continue processing on the current (unresolved) work item in the next flow.
On specific work item to start processing on a different work item.
On Embedded Page when this flow is part of a Split Join operation.
The fields that appear depend on your selection in the Define flow field.
In the Route to queue field, enter the name of the robotic automation work queue to which to route the assignment.
In the Run robotic automation field, enter the automation that the VM runs after retrieving an assignment.
Optional: In the Audit note field, enter the text that appears in the history of the work item, recording the subprocess started by this Assign to robot queue shape.
Note: When you plan to localize the application, choose the text carefully and limit text length to 64 characters. A field value rule with this text as the final key part is needed for each locale. When practical, choose a caption already included in a language pack to simplify localization. See Localization wizard.
Optional: Select the Spinoff flow check box to run the subprocess in parallel with the calling process.
The work items are assigned to a work queue while waiting for processing to continue. You can include local actions that an end user can perform on waiting items.
