Complex question rules completing the Question tab
About New Question Answers Advanced History

Provide the question the end user sees, completing the fields:

Field

Category

Optional. If you have created categories for questions, select a category from the options provided.

Question Layout

Select one of the layout options:

Plain Text — enter the text the user sees.
Rich Text — enter and format the text the user sees.
Custom HTML — select the custom HTML rule that presents the question text. To create a new HTML rule, click the icon beside the field.
Section - select the custom section rule that presents the question text. Click the Get Params button to display a modal dialog where you can provide the parameters the section requires.

Depending on the layout you select, further fields become available:

Layout option	Description
Plain Text	Enter the question text the user sees.
Rich Text	Enter the question the user sees. You can format the question display using the built-in text editor.
Custom HTML	Select from the options presented the custom HTML rule that contains the question text you want to display.
Section Reference	Select the custom section rule that presents the question text. Click Get Params to display a modal dialog where you can provide the parameters the section requires.
