Defining supporting processes for a stage

You can define supporting processes that users can run when a case is in a specific stage. By allowing users to choose when additional processing is needed, you can reduce complexity in the life cycle of a case.

  1. In the Explorer panel, click Cases, and then click the case type that you want to open.

  2. On the Life cycle tab, click a stage name.

  3. Click User actions.

  4. Click + Add process and then select the name of a flow in the first field that is displayed.

  5. Optional: To control whether this process is an available option at run time, press the Down Arrow key in the Allowed when field and select the name of a when condition.

  6. Click Save.

At run time, you can refer to the header of a case to find the supporting processes that are available for the current stage.
