Creating a flow rule

You can create a flow rule to define a process in your application. By using flows, you can enhance your application without providing custom code.

  1. In the header of Designer Studio, click + Create > Process > Flow.

  2. On the Create form, enter values in the fields to define the context of the flow.

  3. Click Create and open to open a flow that contains the Start shape, the Assignment shape, and the End shape.

  4. Optional: To support a context that is different from the applies to class, enter a class name in the Work class field of the Design tab of the Flow form.

This approach is helpful when your flow runs on an embedded page that is not in the same class path as the applies to class of your flow.

  5. Click Save.

You can enhance your flow by adding and connecting shapes.
