You can define flow actions that users can perform while they are waiting for a paused process to resume. By changing the default behavior of the Wait shape in a flow, you can help users work more efficiently.
In the Explorer panel, click Cases, and then click the case type that you want to open.
On the Life cycle tab, click a process that contains the Wait shape, and then click Open process.
In the flow diagram, double click the Wait shape to open the Wait properties dialog box.
Select the Users can choose to continue process check box.
Click + Add local action.
In the Local action permitted for end user field, press the Down Arrow key and select the name of a flow action, or task, that a user can perform.
Local flow actions do not move a case closer to resolution.
Expand the Advanced wait options section.
In the Assigned to workbasket field, press the Down Arrow key and select the name of a work queue that is accessible to your team.
If you do not provide a work queue, your application routes the assignment to an internal work queue that is not associated with a team.
Optional: To change the message that is displayed when a user opens the assignment, press the Down Arrow key in the Instructions field and select a field value.
Click Submit to close the Wait properties dialog box.
Click Save.
At run time, users can choose a flow action to perform or manually resume the process when the case reaches the Wait step in the life cycle.
