Authentication Service data instances
Completing the New or Save As form

Create a new Authentication Service by selecting Designer Studio > Org & Security > Authentication > Create Authentication Service.

Provide information about the service in these fields:

Type - Select one of these options:

• SAML 2.0 to create a service to use with SAML 2.0 web SSO based authentication.
• Custom to create a service to use LDAP authentication, or a custom authentication protocol.

Short description - Required. Specify a short description of what the service provides.

Name - Specify a name for this authentication service. Begin the name with a letter, and use only letters, numbers, the ampersand character, and hyphens.

Click Create and open to create the authentication service. Click Cancel to close the form without creating a service.
