Copying a survey

You can copy a survey in your application to save time and quickly reuse question pages, formatting, or supporting information. If you edit a question page in a copied survey, your changes affect all surveys that reference the question page.

  1. Click Designer Studio > Case Management > Survey to open the Survey Management landing page.

  2. On the Surveys tab, click the Copy icon to open the Copy survey dialog box.

  3. In the Name field, enter a unique name for the survey.

  4. Optional: To change the scope of the survey, expand the Context section and provide a different class, ruleset name, or ruleset version.

Caution: Do not change the scope to be too specific, because you can make the survey incompatible with the question pages that it contains.

  5. Click Save.

After you copy a survey, you can edit the elements that it contains. For example, you can remove questions and question pages, or edit the questions in a question page.

Note: You must purchase a separate license before using survey functionality in your application.
