Deleting features

You can delete features and child features that you no longer need to manage. For example, you can delete a feature if the feature is dropped from the scope of your application development project.

When you delete a feature or its child features, any associations between rules and those features are removed from the system.

Note: You cannot delete a feature that has child features. If you want to delete a feature that has child features, you must first delete its child features.

1. In the Designer Studio header, click the name of your current application, and click Overview.
2. Click the Actions menu icon for the feature or child feature that you want to delete, and click Delete.
