The Optimize for mobile option provides a template for mobile repeating grid layouts by disabling certain configuration options to make the grid more suitable for mobile use. The check box for this option is found on the General tab of the repeating grid layout properties.
When you optimize for mobile, the only data source available is a data page or parameterized data page. Only the Page 1,2,3... pagination format is supported. Conditions for grid and row visibility and row refresh are unavailable. Grid operations (reordering, resizing, categorizing and showing details) are disabled, and presentation options are limited to the style, container format, and width of the content. Filtering and sorting options are available.
A limited set of actions is available when the Optimize for mobile check box is selected. Supported actions are Set focus, Open work by handle, Open assignment, and Edit item.
