Testing Text Analyzer rules
You can test the performance of a Text Analyzer rule after the rule configuration is complete. You can access the results of the NLP analysis under the Data-NLP-Outcome.
- In the Text Analyzer rule form, click Actions > Run to open the Test Page.
- In the Input for text analysis area, paste a unit of text into the Sample text box.
- Click Execute.
- View and evaluate the test results:
- In the Overall sentiment section, view the overall sentiment of the analyzed text unit, the accuracy score, and the detected language of the provided text sample.
- In the Text sentiment section, view the color-coded sentiment analysis of the provided text sample. The following highlight colors are used to identify the sentiment of the text:
- Green - Positive
- Gray - Neutral
- Red - Negative
- In the Categories section, view the categories identified in the sample text. These categories are part of the selected taxonomy. You can also view the sentiment and confidence score for each category. The sample text you provided can be classified as part of the categories with the highest confidence score.
- In the Intent section, view the detected intent types and the associated confidence score. There can be multiple intent types detected in the analyzed sample.
- In the Entities section, view the keywords identified in the sample text. These words are automatically identified by the text analytics engine.
Note: Language, sentiment, and entities results are automatically generated by the text analytics engine. - In the Topics section, view the topics or their synonyms identified in the sample text.
- In the Features section, view the features of the text and their associated sentiment.
