Process modeling is a technique for capturing the different paths that users can take while they process a case. By adding alternate paths to the linear steps in a case life cycle, you can create flows that support more than one outcome.
You model a process when you change the relationships among graphical shapes in the canvas view of a flow. The shapes that you add to the canvas become new steps in a stage of the case life cycle.
For stand-alone flows that are not part of the life cycle, or advanced functionality that is not available in the canvas, you must update the flow diagram on the Flow form.
