This tab is visible for database instances where the How to Connect field on the Database tab is not set to use configuration in preferences.

Proxy Class
Proxyclass name

Optional. Enter the proxy class to use for determining access privileges to the Schema Tools, Query Inspector, and Query Runner landing pages for performing database operations.

Enter the read-only username and password for the account that will be used to log in to the database in the Authentication section of the Database tab. If you are using the JDBC connection pool to connect to the database, enter the read-only JNDI name in the JDBC DataSource settings section of the Database tab.

UDF configuration options
Use UDF for property lookup

Select this option to specify a user-defined function for property lookups.

List other databases that should be reachable by views in this database.
Database Name

Select other database names that views associated with this database name should be able to reference.

This is useful if a view refers to objects which are mapped to different database names in the Pega Platform.

The database names listed in this section are only used for importing and exporting applications.

This information is used for schema qualification of database objects referenced from views and to determine whether GRANT statements need to be generated for objects referenced from views.
