Uploading data for training and testing

In the Source selection step, select the source for training and testing data that is required to create a model.

1. Perform one of the following actions:

   • Click Choose file and select a .csv, .xls, or .xlsx file in your directory. The file must contain sample records with the assigned sentiment values. The records in this file are used for sentiment model training and testing.

   • For model update process, provide the feedback input that was gathered for this model as training data by selecting the Do you want to add feedback? check box. By training a model with your feedback, you can improve the model's accuracy. For more information about feedback for text analytics models, see PDN article Feedback loop API for text analysis.
2. Optional: Download a file template that has the required structure and contains sample records by clicking Download template.
3. Optional: In the Preview section, view the first 50 records from the selected file.
4. Click Next.
