Viewing the prconfig.xml file

You can view the prconfig.xml file for a node in your system to make any changes to the settings or override any value. The prconfig.xml file typically is placed in the WEB-INF/classes subdirectory of the application server directory.

1. Select Designer Studio > System > Operations > System Management Application to start the System Management Application (SMA). You might be prompted for authentication credentials.
2. Select a node from the list of nodes.

3. Expand the Administration section and click Configuration Management to display the configuration settings for the prconfig.xml file.

   Administrators can override the stored settings for a single node in the prconfig.xml file of the node by entering the setting. When the node is restarted, the setting in the file always takes precedence over the stored value.
