Viewing a system queue item's XML and error messages

You can view the XML of a work item in a system queue. In addition, you can view the error messages for items in the Broken queue. This is useful when debugging a problem with agent processing.

You must have the pxSystemOperationsObserver role to view system queues and the pxSystemOperationsAdministrator role to take actions on queue items.

  1. Click Designer Studio > System > Operations > Queue Management.
  2. Click the status of the queue that contains the item whose XML you want to view.
  3. In the Queue(s) grid, click the queue that contains the items you want to view.
  4. In the Item(s) grid, click the Item ID of the item you want to view.
  5. Click Close when you are done.
