Reviewing the features in your application

You can use the Application Overview landing page to find features and review their relationships to rules, work items, or other features. By understanding how your features are implemented and whether they are extensions of other features, you can make informed decisions about the new features that you create.

  1. In the header of Designer Studio, click the name of your current application, and then click Overview to open the Application Overview landing page.

  2. In the Features section, click the Switch to tree view icon.

  3. Expand the list of features, and then review the subfeatures that extend your features.

  4. In the Version column, review the application type to understand which features are unique to your application and which features you inherit from other applications or versions.

To get the status of a feature, look at the progress bar in the Progress column or click the links in this column to open the relevant stories, bugs, or feedback items in the Agile Workbench tool.

  5. Click the name of a feature or subfeature.

  6. On the Associated rules tab, review the list of rules to understand how your development team implemented the feature.

  7. Optional: To continue tracing the implementation, click a rule in the list, and then find its referencing rules.
