Use controls to define how properties appear on user forms, correspondence, and other HTML forms, for both display and for accepting user input.
Auto-generated controls are available, and are preferred in new development.
For properties of mode Single Value, a control can be identified in the Control field of the Property rule form. Controls also can be in report definition rules to define the appearance of values in reports, and in harnesses, sections, and flow actions that define user forms.
Use the Records Explorer to list all controls available to you.
Controls are instances of the Rule-HTML-Property class. They are part of the User Interface category.
The UI Gallery landing page contains working examples of controls. To display the gallery, click Designer Studio > User Interface > Gallery > UI ;elements.
