Converting Pega Express sections to full section editor

Sections created in Pega Express can leverage the full set of editing capabilities available in Designer Studio. When you create a section in Pega Express, the section has a refined number of options available. The goal of this refined option set is to simplify the configuration of sections by a business user.

Convert the Pega Express-generated section to the full section editor to open up all the section design capabilities available in Designer Studio.

1. In the Recent explorer, open a section that you created in Pega Express. Sections recently edited in Pega Express appear in the Recent explorer on the right side of Designer Studio.
2. At the top of section, within the note text, click "convert to full section editor".
3. Click OK to confirm the conversion. You cannot convert back from the full section to templated section.
4. Save the section.

Pega Express-generated sections have the same property panels as sections created in Designer Studio. After you've edited the section and saved it, only certain properties will be available for editing in Pega Express.
