Configuring the classification analysis

Configure the classification analysis to create categories to which various units of text are assigned.

1. In the Records panel, click Decision > Text Analyzer.
2. Open the Text Analyzer rule that you want to edit.
3. In the Classification section, select the Enable classification analysis check box.
4. In the Taxonomy field, specify the taxonomy that you want to use in the classification analysis.

   The following taxonomy rules are available by default:

• pyBankingTaxonomy
• pyCustomerSupportTaxonomy
• pyTelecomTaxonomy
5. Select the classification preference:
   • Select Always use rule based classification to exclude any classification analysis models configured in the taxonomy rule from the analysis. Select this option when no classification model is associated with the taxonomy rule or when the taxonomy provides more reliable results than the model.

     To check whether the taxonomy rule is associated with a classification model, click the Open icon next to the taxonomy rule.

   • Select Use model based classification if available to include the classification model from the taxonomy rule in the analysis if available. You create text analysis models on the Text Analytics landing page.
6. Click Save.
