Configuring the Weather widget

The default Weather widget uses an API key. In order to properly display the widget at run time, you need to add the API key to your Dynamic System Settings.

Add the API key

1. Get a Weather Underground API key: http://www.wunderground.com/weather/api/
2. In Designer Studio, search for the Dynamic System Setting Pega-EndUserUI • uiengine/weather/weatherundergroundapikey and open it.
3. Add your API key to the Value field.
4. Click Save.

View the widget at run time

1. Launch Case Manager 7 portal.
2. Open the Personalize dashboard icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Click Add widget(s).
4. Select the Weather widget and click Add selected.
5. Click Publish.

The Weather widget is displayed on the dashboard.
