Committing hotfixes by using a direct connection to the database

Commit all uncommitted hotfixes to make the hotfixes a permanent part of the system by using a direct connection to the database. This is most commonly done for a stopped instance.

You cannot roll back committed hotfixes.

To connect directly to the database to commit hotfixes, do the following steps.

  1. Save and close the prpcUtils.properties file.
  2. Run the prpcUtils.bat or prpcUtils.sh script with the manageHotfixes option, for example:

    prpcUtils.bat manageHotfixes
