Service Wizard: Select Service Resources

In the fourth step of the wizard, complete each field, and then click Next.

Field

Description

Ruleset Name

Select a ruleset for all rules generated for the service.

Ruleset Version

Select a ruleset version for the service.

Service Package Options

Select an option for package generation:

  • Configure a new service package — Creates an entirely new service package.
  • Copy an existing service package — Creates a new service package using a copy of an existing service package as a template. As you move through the rest of the Service Wizard, you can change these configuration values as needed. The source service package remains unchanged.
  • Use an existing service package — References an existing service package as the basis for the new service package, allowing you to add more services to the package while maintaining the configuration settings of the original.
Existing Service Packages

This field displays if you selected Copy an existing service package or Use an existing service package in the Service Package Options field.

  • If you selected Use an existing service package, select an existing service package to reference.
  • If you selected Copy an existing service package, select an existing service package to use as a template.
Service Listener Options

This field displays if your service type is JMS or MQ. Select an option for service listener generation:

  • Configure a new service listener — Creates an entirely new service listener.
  • Copy an existing service listener — Creates a new service listener using a copy of an existing service listener as a template. As you move through the rest of the Service Wizard, you can change these configuration values as needed. The source service listener remains unchanged.
  • Skip listener configuration for now — Does not create a service listener.
Existing Service Listeners

This field displays if you selected Copy an existing service listener in the Service Listener Options field.

Select an existing service listener to use as a template for your service listener.

Resource Name Resolution

This field displays if your service type is JMS.

To use resource references to identify the JMS resources, select Use Resource References. Otherwise, select Use JNDI Lookup.
