Specifying the date range for a Timeline control

To identify the date range of the events to display in a Timeline control, complete the following steps.

  1. In the Event section field on the General tab of the Properties panel, specify the section to use when displaying the event at runtime. Specifying the event section gives you control over the look and behavior of the event. The section must be in the class of the event item.

  2. In the Event start date property field, specify the name of the property to be evaluated for the start date of events on the timeline.

  3. Optional: In the Event end date property field, specify the name of the property to be evaluated for the end date of events on the timeline. If this is blank, event end dates are not displayed.

  4. In the Show events from list, select the date range for displaying events. You can choose from these options:
