Adding a memo to the history of a rule

Add a memo to a specific history record to leave a note or comment for future reference. Memos are also automatically created by the system after you save a rule or restore a previous version of a rule, or by the security audit feature.

  1. On the History tab of a rule form, click View full history.
  2. Click History For All Versions.
  3. In the window that appears, enter text in the Add Memo field and then click Add Memo to add the text to the memo area in the top part of the form. This text becomes part of the history.
