Requestor pools management

Requestor pools are sets of requestors that are dedicated to processing incoming service requests from a specific service package. On the Requestor Pools landing page, you can manage requestor pools to tune the requestor pool configuration and efficiently manage the resources to improve the performance of services.

You can view a list of all of the available requestor pools across the whole cluster, on the current node, or on a remote node. You can view basic requestor pool metrics, check the configured sizes of the pools, and clear a requestor pool for a specific service package.

To access the Requestor Pools landing page, view the list of requestor pools, view details about a requestor pool, and open a service package form, you must have the pzSystemOperationsObserver privilege. To perform all available actions on requestor pools, for example, to clear a requestor pool, you must also have the pzSystemOperationsAdministrator privilege.

On the Requestor Pool Management landing page, you can perform the following actions on requestor pools:

• Clear a requestor pool

• View more details about a requestor pool

• Refresh metrics about requestor pools by clicking Refresh.

• Open a service package form by clicking the service package name, to edit the thresholds for a requestor pool on the Pooling tab.
