Associating a specification with a rule

On most rule forms, you can associate specifications with the rules that implement them to improve the end-to-end traceability of your specifications. You can associate a rule with any specification in your application stack.

  1. Open a rule by searching for it or by using the Application Explorer.

  2. Click the Specifications tab. This tab lists the specifications that are currently associated with the rule.

  3. Manage specifications in the following ways:
    • To associate a specification with the rule:

      1. Click the Add icon.

      2. In the Name field, type the name of a specification or select a specification from the autocomplete list.

    • To delete a specification, click the Delete icon.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes.
