Creating an authentication profile

Create an authentication profile to move messages securely to and from your application with a variety of connector and server rules.

  1. To create an authentication profile, in the navigation panel, click Records > Security > Authentication Profile, and then click Create.
  2. In the Type list, click the profile type:
    • Basic – Pass basic HTTP authentication credentials.
    • NTLM – Pass NT LAN Manager credentials.
    • OAuth 1.0a – Use OAuth 1.0 authentication.
    • OAuth 2.0 – Use OAuth 2.0 authentication.
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Use Amazon Web Services (AWS).
    • Microsoft Azure – Use Microsoft Azure.
  3. Enter a name and short description.
    The name must begin with a letter.
  4. Click Create and open.
  5. Configure your selected authentication profile.
