Privileges and roles for high availability management
Various privileges and roles are used for Pega Platform high availability management, Pega Platform server investigation, and security.
High availability privileges
The following privileges are available:
- pxHighAvailabilityAdmin – Operators with this privilege can access the HA Cluster Settings landing page from the Dev Studio menu. The settings are cluster-wide.
- pxHighAvailabilityAdminQuiesce – Operators with this privilege can access the HA Cluster Management landing page from the Dev Studio menu. In situations where cluster management is handled by operations centers, this privilege does not need to be granted because a Network Operation center uses AES or MBeans instead of the landing page for high availability administration.
