Add an AJAX container to a layout to group documents such as work items, cases, and
harnesses. The AJAX container is not tied to any specific panel of a screen layout.

On the Design tab, click the Layout
control group.

Select the AJAX container control, and drag it into a
section.

In the AJAX Container Settings window, configure the AJAX
container:
- Optional:
In the Default view drop-down, select what you want to
display within the container.
- Optional:
To use tab navigation between multiple documents, select the Show as
tabs check box.
- Optional:
In the Maximum Documents drop-down, select how many
documents the container can hold.
- Optional:
To specify the container as a target for secondary content launched within a
harness, select the Mark as secondary container check
box.
Configure the respective sections to launch in the secondary container. Follow the
steps from

to
3.j.

In the form that you are editing, click the chosen section and click the
View properties icon.

On the Actions tab of the Properties
panel, click Create an action set.

Click Add an event and select an event that the application
user will perform, such as Click or
Hover.

Click and select the Load in secondary container check
box.

Click Submit.

On the Section form, click Save.
- Optional:
In the Accessibility section, set the Aria
Role parameter to Presentation or
Main.
