Testing React UI for an application

Preview the React UI framework in your application to explore the new development environment, which improves performance, interactivity, and response times.

Pega Cloud Services and client-managed cloud environments have the React UI framework installed by default.
Note: Some interface elements may not be compatible with React UI. For more information about checking application readiness, see Reviewing user interface components.
Before you begin: If you run an on-premises environment, install and configure the React UI framework. For more information, see Installing the Docker container with React UI and Configuring Pega Platform for React UI.
  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click the name of the application, and then click Definition.
  2. In the Advanced section, select the React UI based application check box, and then click Save.
    Result: You can now test the React UI environment in your application.
