About EJB connector rules
Use Connect EJB rules to define and configure a connector to an Enterprise JavaBean on a local or remote system. The services are deployed as Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs) within a Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application server, such as IBM's WebSphere or Oracle WebLogic.

To list the Connect EJB rules in your application, use the Application Explorer or click

Development
You can use a wizard to generate classes, properties, and Connect EJB rules, rather than creating them one by one through rule forms. See About the Connector and Metadata wizard .
To use the wizard, select
.At runtime, the system locates the local or remote services and connects to them using the Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) protocol.
To debug your application, you can simulate an EJB connector when the external system is unavailable or lacks a test environment. See Creating Connector Simulations.
