Case status is the primary indicator of the current state of your business process. By
using case statuses, you communicate progress to people involved in a case processing to ensure
a common understanding on a way to reaching your business objectives. For example, you can use a
status In-Progress to communicate that a case worker is working on a case, and
Resolved-Completed to announce that the case reached a successful resolution. You can use
default statuses, or you can create custom statuses to meet your unique business
needs.
