Configuration > Settings > Channels > File

The Outbound tab displays a detailed list of file Output Template rules currently defined in your system.

Use the New button to create a new file Output Template rule.
Double-click a row to open the corresponding Output Template rule.
Use the Actions menu on a row to perform further actions on the output file. The set of available actions depends on the status of the Output Template and includes the following:
- Download - Presents the output file so it can be saved locally.
- Finalize - Triggers finalization of the Output Template (and corresponding file).
- Finalize and Download - Triggers finalization of the Output Template (and corresponding file) and presents the resulting file for local download.
- Retry - Retries writing the records to the appropriate output file (in case of a failure).

The list of file Output Templates contains the following columns:

Column Heading	Description
Template Name	Displays the name of the file Output Template.
File Path	Displays the path of the output file for this template.
File Name	Displays the name of the output file for this template.
Issue	Displays the Issue to which the file Output Template belongs.
Group	Displays the Group to which the file Output Template belongs.
# of Records	Displays the number of records in the output file for this template.
As of	Displays the date and time when records were last written to the output file.
Status	Displays the current status for the Output Template. The possible status values are: New - The Output Template is yet to be used to write records to the output file. In Progress - (Overwrite mode) The Output Template has been used to write records to the output file, but it has not been finalized. Online - (Append mode) The Output Template has been used to write records to the output file. The status will remain as Online even after finalization. Finalized - (Overwrite mode) The Output Template has been finalized. Failed - An error occurred while writing records to the output file.
Actions	Provides the Actions menu with the Download, Finalize, Finalize and Download, and Retry action items (as appropriate).
