Use the Design tab to:
To specify the Geofence location, first select the location mode. Choose between:
Address - Enter the address of the location in the text box.Coordinates - Enter the coordinates of the location in the Latitude and Longitude fields.Enter the desired radius for the Geofence and select the desired radius unit (Kilometers or Miles).
After specifying the location details, use the Search button to search for the location. The system renders the Geofence in the map centered at the specified location and with the specified radius.
The Geofence Details section displays the location and radius details of the selected Geofence.
You can perform regular map actions (such as zooming, panning, etc.) with the rendered Google map. In addition, you can:
to relocate the Geofence’s location. The details section will display the new address and coordinates.
. The details section will display the new radius value.Choose from the following options in the
menu:
Hide Other Geofences - This is the default selection. Choose this option to hide other Geofences.Show without Radius - Choose this option to view nearby Geofence locations. Each Geofence is represented by a blue pin and the radius of the Geofence is not displayed. Hover over the pin to view the name of the Geofence.Show with Radius - Choose this option to view nearby Geofences along with their radii. Each neighboring Geofence is represented by a blue pin as its center and a blue circle corresponding in size to its radius.
When multiple Geofences are located in too close a radius to render separately, the system represents them together by a circle with the total number of Geofences in it. Click on the number to view a list of the contained Geofences.
The system displays Real-Time Events associated with this Geofence in the Geofence Events section. Click on a Real-Time Event entry in the Associated Events grid to open the associated Real-Time Event rule.
