Use the Import button on the Geofences tab of the Real-Time Artifacts landing page to launch the Import Geofences wizard.
The import process has the following three stages:
Use the Browse... button to select the comma-separated values (CSV) file containing the list of Geofences to import. After selecting the CSV file, use the Next >> button to proceed to the review stage.

The Geofences to Import grid presents the following information about each entry:

Overwrite | For conflicting entries, presents a check box that can be selected when managing conflicts individually. |
Name | Displays the name of the Geofence. |
Latitude | Displays the latitude of the Geofence. |
Longitude | Displays the longitude of the Geofence. |
Address | Displays the address of the Geofence. |
Radius | Displays the radius of the Geofence. |
Unit | Displays the unit for the radius of the Geofence. |
Status | Displays the status for the import of this Geofence. The possible values are:

Use the Import Options section to specify how to handle conflicts reported in the import process. Choose from the following options:
Skip conflicts and keep my existing data
- Select this option to ignore any conflicting Geofence entries and retain the original Geofence rule or the first Geofence import file entry, as appropriate.Overwrite all my existing data with the new import data
- Select this option to overwrite all existing Geofence rules (in the system) and/or earlier import file entries with the latest file entry.Overwrite my existing data as marked above
- Select this option to pick which import file entries should overwrite existing entries. Select the Overwrite check box for each desired entry. The system will ignore entries where the check box is not checked.Finally, after reviewing the results and selecting the desired conflict management option, check the I have reviewed the results... check box and use the Next >> button to finalize the import and initiate the back-end creation/updating of Geofence rules.
Use the summary stage to view a summary of the import process. The system displays the following summary information:
After reviewing the results, use the Done button to exit the import process.
