Able to click submit button though it is restricted



User has flow action and there are no local actions,  the flow action has a security to restrict manual user from accessing the flow action and only an Agent can perform that action.However the Submit button is enabled for manual users and then he is able to click on the submit button.Once he clicks an error message is shown saying ‘No flow action chosen’

In 5.5 SP2 user has such a flow action then the user will be shown with a disabled submit button with no UI.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a flow with an assignment.
2. Provide only single connector (flow Action) coming out of the assignment.
3. Restrict the Flow Action accessibility to the user by providing when rule under security tab.
4. When the user runs the process and comes to the assignment, the flow action is not visible but a submit button is seen which is provided to submit the action, 

Root Cause

Disable condition for submit buttong goes wrong.


  1. Create two when rules Work-. pzshowSubmitDisabled and Work-.pzshowSubmitEnabled with the conditions shown below respectively.

    3. Save as Work-.pyActionAreaButtons section to the customer application ruleset.

    4.   Add a new submit button#2 with disabled option being selected. The section looks like.
    5. Check the disabled checkbox for second button.

        6. Add visible condition to the button#1 as “myParamPage.pyDisplayMode!='ActionButton' && pzshowSubmitEnabled”
        7. For the button#2 add the visible condition as “myParamPage.pyDisplayMode!='ActionButton' && pzshowSubmitDisaled”. Note that this button is disabled as shown below
