Adaptive Decision Manager models do not get updated

The Adaptive Decision Manager (ADM) models do not get updated post updating Pega 7.2 to Pega 7.3.1. The issue is related to the Interaction rules used by the user's application.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Capture a response through an Interaction rule. No predictor data (responses) are recorded using PegaBC and Interaction rule in ADM post upgrade.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules. The legacy Interaction rules (with multi-level tabs) which are created in PRPC 6.x are used by the application. The Interaction rules are deprecated in Pega 7. However, ADM does not work with the legacy Interaction rules on Pega 7.2.1.

Perform the following local-change:
Update the application code to use data flows instead of Interaction rules for the ADM responses to be recorded correctly.
