ADM node fails to start on restricting CREATE permission

Summary



Pega Marketing 7.4 is installed on Pega 7.4.
When using external Cassandra, Pega Adaptive Decision Manager (ADM) node does not start on restricting the CREATE permission.



Error Messages

com.datastax.driver.core.exceptions.UnauthorizedException: User dev_pega_user has no CREATE permission on <all keyspaces> or any of its parents 
at com.datastax.driver.core.exceptions.UnauthorizedException.copy(UnauthorizedException.java:59) ~[cassandra-driver-core-3.1.2.jar:?]



Steps to Reproduce



Restrict user permission on Cassandra key spaces instead of providing CREATE permission on entire Cassandra.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Resolution



Apply HFix-51899.
