AES: Unable to find proper class for work object. PEGA0028

The following errors are found in AES 7.2 logs

Error Messages

2017-06-11 00:01:27,253 [.PegaWorkManager : 1] [ STANDARD] [ ] [ AES:07.14] (nner.PegaAES_Data_Alert.Action) ERROR - Unable to find proper class for work object. MsgID: PEGA0028

Steps to Reproduce

  • Trigger PEGA0028 alerts in monitored nodes
  • Observe logs generated by AES "Perform Critical Alert Analysis" agent

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: Work items should be created for incoming PEGA0028 alerts in the "Operations" category. MemoryAccumulator is the correct class that should be used for that. Also critical event subscription to these alerts should work (trigger an email when such alert arrives) but this is not yet implement.

The solution to the problem is planned to be included in a Pega AES 7.3 release.
