After user is resizing the window, screen freezes

Summary
After reducing the window size, if user clicks on close button of any intent task, the screen will get frozen.
Long running script pop-up appears when use case is performed in Internet Explorer browser.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Login to the system and launch the CSR portal.
2. Start the interaction and reduce the window size.
3. Complete the intent task and click on the close button to close that intent task.
4. Observe that no action is getting performed and long running script window appears in Internet Explorer.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The issue is because after resizing the window, the service case which have been launched, will hide under the header pane and when user tries to close the service case some of the events are not processed or failing because of which service case is not getting closed.
Resolution
Apply HFix-33993.
