Agent does not run as per the scheduled time



An agent that sends correspondence does not work as per the schedule. The activity it references runs without issue and there are no exceptions on the agent. However, the agent fails to run and the time does not update till the next run. The agent previously had an exception but it is fixed. However, the agent still fails to run. Currently, no exceptions occur on any of the nodes. The agent runs correctly in all the lower environments.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add an agent to the Agent Schedule  
  2. Configure the agent to run regularly at 5 AM
  3. Set the mode to Advanced 
  4. Select the Run this agent on only one node at a time checkbox
  5. Create an activity
  6. Reference the activity on the agent created. This activity should send out an email

Root Cause

A run-time error caused the Hazelcast internal data structures to become corrupt. The Hazelcast manages the scheduling and the corruption interfering with the correct execution of the agent.


Perform the following local-change:
Restart the cluster.
