Agent runs on all nodes instead of only one node

SA-69623

Summary

An agent is created and its execution is defined on multiple node configurations. The agent runs on all nodes despite checking the 'Run this agent on only one node at a time' checkbox.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Cerate an agent.
  2. Define its execution on multiple node configurations.
  3. Check the 'Run this agent on only one node at a time' checkbox.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.

The 'Run this agent on only one node at a time' option means the agent can run on any node selected in the cluster, but not at the same time.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

For the agent to run after a certain interval, use 'Delay the next run of the agent' option.

For example, if the time is set as 10 minutes, the agent will not execute on any node for the next 10 minutes in the cluster after the first run.
