Agent starts up despite disabling it

Summary


 

In the Web tier, Startup of agent PRISMFW:Process Change Venue is disabled using the -DExcludeAgents option in the JVM configuration. However, the agent starts up in the web nodes after the application restarts.


Error Messages

Invalid entries present in agent startup parameters. Ignoring the invalid entries
com.pega.pegarules.pub.PRRuntimeException: Invalid entries in agent startup parameters. Agent name SET REGULAR REVIEWER DETAILS is invalid and does not exist in the specified ruleset PRISMFW, Agent name SET HONORARY REVIEWER DETAILS is invalid and does not exist in the specified ruleset PRISMFW, Agent name AUTO RESOLVE IINE CASES is invalid and does not exist in the specified ruleset PRISMFW, Agent name PROCESS CHANGE VENUE is invalid and does not exist in the specified ruleset PRISMFW


Steps to Reproduce


 

Restart the web node. The agent starts up automatically.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. Agent name was unrecognised.

Resolution



Perform the following local-change:
Reset the JVM argument with a proper name.
