Alert icon display issue on UI in IE9 and IE8



The application has been upgraded to Pega 7. Whenever any property field validation fails, the alert icon for required field does not display properly in IE9 and IE8 versions. The icon is small, and a portion of it is invisible.

Steps to Reproduce

Open the application in IE8 or IE9, and enter a property value where the field validation fails.

Root Cause

The CSS used in the upgraded version in incompatible and was used in the previous versions of PRPC.


Use the below CSS change to resolve this issue.

div.sectionDivStyle td.dataValueWrite div.iconErrorDiv > span.iconError {
     left: 10px;

This CSS change can be altered as per the requirement.
