The 'All' row not exported to Excel in Pega 8.1.4

When summarizing a report definition, the 'All' row displays. However, when exporting to Excel, the 'All' row does not display.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Execute a Summary report. The 'All' row displays.
  2. Export to Excel. The 'All' row does not display.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

The absence of the All or the Grand Total row is an intentional difference in the report definition's Export to Excel feature, as is the absence of the indentations for each group when a Summary View is exported to Excel. These changes are made to enhance interoperability with Excel's features, such as sorting, filtering, calculations, and producing charts.
