Append Activity is not called in Repeat Grid

Summary
The Append Activity specified as part of the repeating grid configuration is not being called at runtime when the grid uses the Modal or Embedded Pane edit mode.
Error Messages
No errors, the specified activity is not run.
Steps to Reproduce
Configure a repeat grid using Modal or Embedded Pane edit mode. Specify an Append Activity. At runtime, add a row to the grid.
Root Cause
The Append Activity is not intended for use when using modal / embedded pane edit mode as the flow actions that you specify for these modes will be the pre and post activity settings on the referenced flow action.
Resolution
If you require an activity to run on the addition of a new row when using the Modal or Embedded Page edit mode then use the Pre-Processing settings on the flow action used
