Applet can not be identified by "ID" in javascript method

User has embedded an applet in the portal header in a screen layout. They noticed class loading issues where the classes in the applet are not in scope of the Case.

User tried embedding the same applet in the Case Perform harness but looks like it is not loading the classes in case thread.

The application has an embedded applet to provide integration with telephony.

The applet is added part of an Html rule with an <object id=”MyApplet”> </object>.

User has included this Html in the screen layout header. While invoking an API method from the Case, it is unable to recognize the method call which is invoked using Applet ID: for example, EApplet.methodCall().
